What is beauty? From when girls are born, there are always expectations that "need" to be met. The first thing anyone sees is the appearance which is why I decided to pronounce the women's faces. I wanted to contrast how the world perceives women versus how women perceive themselves by using light colors on the faces but obscure colors for the background. Each expression shows the reality of how women feel when being judged by others.
